Strong wind in Calgary and Southern Alberta Wednesday afternoon has caused some problems.
Here in Calgary, gusts have reportedly blown down at least three C-Train crossing arms along 36 Street in the northeast.
In the mountains, the wind, combined with slab snow conditions have boosted the avalanche hazard in Kananaskis Country to high.
There are warnings out south of Calgary, from the Crowsnest Pass through Lethbridge, where gusts could reach 100 kilometres per hour Wednesday night.
