Calgary libraries set record

Library cardholders in Calgary borrowed a record 17 million materials last year, up half million units from 2010.
That makes Calgary the sixth busiest library system in North American behind Toronto, Los Angeles, and three libraries in New York.
Calgary Public Library spokesman Grant Kaiser tells the Calgary Herald, libraries have become alive, vibrant parts of the community with no more “shooshing”.
And he adds unlike before, feel free to bring along a coffee.
