A Muslim cleric in Calgary says he’s getting death threats.
Imam Syed Soharwardy, the founder of Muslims Against Terrorism, says he received nine different phone messages, all with different voices, on Friday.
Soharwardy says he suspects the threats might have to do with recent statements he’s made against domestic violence and honour killings.
He says all the threats have been reported to Calgary Police.
