A Calgary singer is making waves in the music industry after winning a nation-wide grant to help launch her career.
Trinity Bradshaw, who works regularly in a northeast car dealership, was chosen as the winner of the “First 15,” a contest from Sugar Crisp to help young aspiring musicians.
The 21-year-old recently won free studio time with a music producer and a $5,000 grant to get her career going.
Performing is nothing new to the Bradshaw, who won with her original song “Just you and I.”
“I’ve been performing publically since I was like eight or nine years old around Prince Edward Island, where I’m from,” says Bradshaw.
Bradshaw also tried out for the premiere of Citytv’s Canada’s Got Talent.
Tune in to the show in March to find out how she did.
