Calgary murderer won’t get prison passes

A Calgary woman found guilty of killing and dismembering her roommate in 1999 will not be allowed escorted passes from prison.
Deborah Point is serving a 20-year sentence for second degree murder in the death of Audrey Trudeau.
Point appeared before a parole board Wednesday hoping to secure passes for financial and health appointments, as well as for community and family functions.
The Calgary Sun reports the passes were denied, and Point still claims she didn’t commit the heinous murder.
