David Spence nixes Groundhog Day guesses

Forecasting the weather six weeks ahead is pretty much impossible to do with any kind of accuracy, according to 660News meteorologist David Spence.

“It’s something perhaps best left to critters or people in rodent suits as in the case of Balzac Billy,” quips Spence.

However, Spence says it looks like the sunny and above average weather is going to continue.

He says temperatures warmer than average, in the mid-to-high single digits, will persist right through until February 11th or 12th.

“Beyond that,” says Spence, “it’s all up to Mother Nature.”
