Mounties have charged a 19-year-old with attempted kidnapping after a young Vulcan boy was approached and chased by someone driving a pickup truck.

RCMP say the boy feared he was going to be abducted late Monday afternoon.

A.J. Gregory is also charged with sexually assaulting two girls under the age of 16 last year. In both cases he and the alleged victims maintained a casual friendship and RCMP say those offences were not random.

RCMP also want to know what he was up to while living in Pincher Creek and Edmonton.
