Young suspected thief nabbed

Police are questioning a 15-year-old boy after a couple of cars were stolen Thursday morning.
Around 8 a.m. a call came in about a stolen car from the Queensland area. It was later seen on Deerfoot Trail where it hit another vehicle, then drove to Douglasdale where it was dumped.
Duty Insp. Craig Skelton says about half an hour before that, a car was stolen from Riverbend and left near where the car in Queensland was taken, possibly linking the boy to a rash of vehicle thefts in that community.
No charges have been laid.
