Fire alarm danger?

There are allegations that many of the people who install and maintain fire alarms in Alberta are not qualified.
That, from the head of a local chapter of the Fire Alarms Association of Canada, who tells the Calgary Sun, there are definitely systems in Calgary that have the potential for loss of life.
A Fire Department official says they’re confident about how the work is conducted but admits there may be some lag in education, like other industries.
The government is still reviewing fire safety systems province-wide cited in recent allegations that an official’s signature was forged on hundreds of fire safety systems.
