Sandra Jansen wins nomination

Long-time broadcaster Sandra Jansen has clinched the PC nomination for Calgary-Northwest.

The former City-tv anchor, who became one of Premier Alison Redford’s communications managers, will now be the Progressive Conservative voice for the riding.

She beat out Alex Girvin and Jawad Durrani for the area currently held by outgoing MLA Lindsay Blackett who decided not to run again.
