PM Harper in China for historic trip

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his wife Laureen were greeted by officials in Beijing as they arrived in China Tuesday.
It’s a landmark trip designed to expand and accelerate trade with China as well as selling oil, in particular, as a backup to the U.S. market if the Keystone XL Pipeline project is not eventually approved.
Harper has about 40 business leaders with him, including CEOs of the major oil companies.
Senior executives of Northern Gateway are also on hand to presumably explain the logistics of laying a pipe from Alberta to the B.C. coast for transport to China.
There are executives from the Transportation, Agricultural and Education sectors on this mission as well.
