Killam shooter makes his first court appearance

The 27-year-old man accused in the shooting of two Mounties in Killam will return to the town next Tuesday for his first court appearance.
Sawyer Clarke Robison is currently in custody at the Edmonton Remand Centre.
He’s charged with the attempted murders of Const. Sid Gaudette and Const. Sheldon Shah, who were shot in the torso while executing a search warrant for a .45-calibre handgun at a rural residence on February 7th.
Robison then fled the house where the body of his uncle, Brad Clarke, was found by RCMP.
He was picked up nearby a few days later.
RCMP spokesman Sgt. Patrick Webb tells The Calgary Sun, the officers are still recovering in hospital.
