Vader denied bail

A suspect in the disappearance of an elderly Alberta couple will remain behind bars for now.
40 year-old Travis Vader is the RCMP’s prime suspect in the case of Lyle and Marie McCann.
They disappeared while on a trip to B.C. in the summer of 2010.
Vader has never been charged in relation to the McCann case.
He is awaiting trial on unrelated stolen property and weapons offences.
The McCann’s son Bret says it’s an enormous relief Vader will stay behind bars while the investigation continues.
