Break-in call uncovers grow-op

A call about a break-in led city police to a grow-op in a southeast home.

Police headed to a home in Shawnessy on February 16th on calls of the possible break-in and found around 1,900 marijuana plants growing inside, worth about $1,200 each.

According to The Calgary Sun, police believe thieves got away with about a third of the crop before they arrived on scene.

No charges have been laid.
