Inglewood house fire

Fire fighters swiftly got a sundeck fire under control Friday evening, likely saving the home from extensive damage.
Crews responded to a blaze in the 2300 block of 16 St SE , upon arrival they found the sundeck fire had spread to the vinyl siding of the house.
They were able to put the fire out before it reached the attic and got inside the home.
Luckily no one was injured and all three people in the home were accounted for including a pet cat that was retrieved by crews.
They say the home will be ventilated of smoke and gasses, allowing the family to return home.
There is no word on the cause of the blaze at this time and no estimate on damage.
