New public art at downtown LRT platform

A series of 30 multi-coloured figurines are livening up the downtown core as the city erects a new art installation.
The piece called “Transit Story” by Jill Anholt is on the Telus Convention Centre LRT platform at 7th Avenue and Centre Street.
Heavy Industries, the company that made the art, used 2,500 feet of mild steel and over 15,000 welds to meet structural standards.
