Federal safety investigators are expected to be out in full force Monday at the scene of a deadly train derailment in Burlington, Ontario that killed three VIA Rail employees, and injured dozens of passengers, three of them seriously.
Investigators will try and determine whether it was a switching problem or something else that caused the VIA train to go off the tracks in the city west of Toronto.
The train was on route from Niagara Falls to Toronto when the derailment occurred.
