Pharmacy thief makes off with Oxycontin

A masked robber nicked a pharmacist before making off with a stash of the painkiller Oxycontin late Wednesday night.
It happened at the Shoppers Drug Mart at 815 17th Ave. S.W. around 10 p.m.
Duty Insp. Paul Stacey says she didn’t need medical attention, but she’s shaken up.
“He’s described as a dark male, approximately six feet tall with a slim build, blue eyes and reddish-blonde facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie with thin white pin stripes and he had a mask pulled up over most of his face at the time,” said Duty Insp. Stacey.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police.
