Today is National Pink Shirt day

When reaching for a shirt Wednesday morning, consider something pink.

It’s National Pink Shirt Day; dedicated to raising awareness for anti-bullying campaigns.

The idea for Pink Shirt Day stemmed from two Nova Scotia high-school students wanting to support a fellow student who was being bullied.

David Sheppherd and Travis Price bought fifty pink tank-tops and handed them out at the school.

They tell the Globe and Mail, after that day, the bullies were never heard from again.
