Anders gets sleepy

First a YouTube video caught him dozing in the house during question period, now, Calgary MP Rob Anders is being accused of nodding off in a Veteran’s Affairs committee meeting.

The meeting happened in Halifax on Tuesday.

The head of the organization holding the meeting says Anders showed up late, didn’t apologize for his tardiness, and sat in the back of room.

Jim Lowther says he was extremely unhappy and even thought about telling Anders that there was a pot of coffee behind him.

Anders strongly denies the allegation.

He says he was not asleep and remembers exactly what happened in the meeting.
