Media is missing the message: Redford

The premier says it’s a case of the media not hearing what she said.

In Calgary last week, Redford told reporters she was calling a healthcare inquiry only into allegations of queue-jumping, not about doctor intimidation in the healthcare system.

But now she says the media took that to mean any allegations of intimidation with respect to queue-jumping would be ignored, according to the Calgary Sun.

Redford says if the inquiry hears of intimidation, it has to be addressed; there’s no way around it.

The opposition is hammering the premier for her perceived breaking of a leadership race promise to hold a wide-ranging health inquiry.
