Former AHS boss wins Tory nomination for Calgary-West

Hundreds turned out to give former Alberta Health Services boss Ken Hughes the win in the Tory nomination for Calgary-West.

Nearly 1,000 people showed up for the controversial second run of the vote.

The initial January 21 votes were thrown out after several complaints were made and irregularities were discovered.

The candidates for the Tories in Calgary-West included Allan Ryan, Ken Hughes and Shiraz Shariff.
