More and more Canadians find themselves sleep deprived and with daylight savings taking an hour away from us this weekend and it being Sleep Awareness Week, a spokes person with Med Sleep Calgary has some advice.
Atul Khullar tells 660News the amount of sleep someone needs varies from person to person.
There are those people who can get away with five or six hours, but those people are very rare, only probably about two out of 100 but 80 out of 100 think they’re in that group. So I think if you feel rested, you’re getting up pretty close to or without an alarm clock and you’re not needing more than say a coffee a day,” says Khullar.
Sleep Dr. Adam Moscovitch will be in Calgary March 12/13 where you can learn everything from whether or not you’re getting enough sleep, as well as what you can do to prevent sleepless nights to due pain.
