Air Canada workers warn airline of possible strike

Air Canada’s baggage handlers and mechanics are threatening job action.
It’s definitely news that people are not looking forward to hearing and it could have a major impact.
They are threatening to strike on Monday and Steve on the way to Cancun with his family said the timing isn’t good.
“It could disrupt a lot of people and it’s going to make it very difficult for people to get where they have to go,” he said.
Air Canada says that strike action will cause uncertainty for thousands of travellers, and the lines of communication remain open.
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Engineers representing about 8,600 Air Canada workers rejected a tentative contract offer last month, voting 78 per cent in favour of a strike.
