Double homicide in Hanna

A double murder in Hanna is being investigated after finding a man and a woman dead inside a home early Thursday morning.
Sgt. Patricia Neely tells 660News, what happened when police responded to a house call, “They were met by a 24-year old who had indicated that he had killed two people. When they checked the residence indicated by this young male, they did indeed find the bodies of an adult male and an adult female. So, clearly this investigation is in the very early stages and continues with the assistance of the RCMP.”
The 24-year old man, who is believed to be a relative of one of the deceased, is in custody.
RCMP are asking anyone with information to call their Hanna detachment.
