Paxton sentencing delayed

It may be a while before the fate of convicted sex offender Dustin Paxton is determined.
A sentencing date for Paxton was supposed to be set Friday, but the Crown is going to apply to have him assessed as a long-term and possible dangerous offender.
Defence attorney Jim Lutz says his client does not fit the criteria.
On Apr. 3, Justice Sheilah Martin will consider scheduling an assessment.
