Changes to transit service

Calgary Transit is making some scheduling adjustments on 40 city bus routes, effective today.
Spokesman Ron Collins says CTS makes these service adjustments four times a year, based primarily on ridership counts. On some routes, busses could be cancelled during off peak hours.
Collins says some of the changes are a reflection of the current budget, which cut the hours of service by about $20,000 from last year.
