“Pierre Poutine” is about to come-out of hiding.
Sources say the person is about to claim responsibility for setting-up the account which robo-called voters in Guelph, Ontario; sending them to wrong polling stations during the last Federal Election.
The National Post reports Elections Canada has investigators closing in on the person thanks to the IP address used to create the account.
The owner of Rack Nine, the company which executed the robocalls, was able to trace the internet protocol address to a single home.
The person behind the account had used fake contact information to set-up the robocalls, including the name “Pierre Poutine” of Separatist Street, Joliette, Quebec.
