Breast Brunch Ever

The first Breast Brunch Ever is coming to Calgary this spring.

It’s one of the events spearheaded by former Stamps player Taylor Robertson, now with the Argos, who lost his mother to breast cancer when he was just seven years old.

He’s been working with cancer charities throughout his pro football career but tells 660News the idea was always to establish his own organization.

“Finally, in September 2010, I launched ‘Life on the Line’…obviously, the ‘line’ part, you know, me being an offensive lineman in the football world and cancer being a disease that sometimes puts your life on the line.  Sometimes you have to go out there and fight it and overcome it and survive.”

Life on the Line raises awareness and funding to support cancer patients and their families.

The Breast Brunch Ever will be held May 27th at the Calgary Delta South.

You can find tickets and more information by clicking here.

Funds raised through the event will benefit Wellspring Calgary, an organization providing cancer patients with care and support during their battle.
