Wildrose Party on the rise – poll

The Progressive Conservatives are still tops among decided Alberta voters, but the Wildrose is picking up momentum according to a new poll.
The CEO of Abacus Data, the company that conducted the survey for QMI / SUN News says the numbers seem to suggest the honeymoon period for Premier Alison Redford is over.
David Coletto tells 660News, if the vote was held today, the Tories would still be in power but with a much smaller majority.
The Tories have 34-per cent of decided voters back, 29-per cent support the Wildrose, the Liberals are in third with 18 per cent, while 14 per cent like the NDP.
On the question of which leader Albertans’ favour the most Coletto says Wildrose boss Danielle Smith finished on top.
He says the one thing that should help the Conservatives come Election Day is Alberta’s strong economy, which usually helps the government of the day when the ballots are counted.
The poll was conducted earlier this month.
