Zoo welcomes Red River piglets

The Calgary Zoo has welcomed two new residents to the zoo family.
Monday, Red River Hog “Ine,” gave birth to a couple of piglets who look a bit like tiny watermelons with tails.
Spokeswoman Trish Exton-Parder says the pair are up and running and weigh 700-800 grams compared to their mom who is about 60 kilograms.
The hogs are part of a Species Survival plan and are native West and Central Sub-Saharan Africa.
The two will be named once staff figure out what gender they are.
