Weekend delays concern Air Canada passengers

Some passengers at Calgary’s International Airport say they are still concerned they may face delays after a weekend blip for Air Canada.
Many flights were delayed, or cancelled Saturday when at least 12 Air Canada pilots called in sick, and fog issues shut-down a runway at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
Early Monday morning only one Air Canada flight had been cancelled, and that was in Toronto.
Karen and Mel aren’t too concerned about the weekend delays as they wait to board a plane to Montego Bay.
“At the hotel, we had the pilot say, ‘see you later’, so that’s good news,” says Mel.
Glen however is not so optimistic; he followed the reports of delays Saturday and says he’s concerned his flight to Victoria could be canned.
“I don’t know what the situation is, whether my flight is going or not. But if it doesn’t, I guess I’ll have to fly out later in the day,” he says.
