With a provincial election looming, the Alberta Party released its official platform Thursday.
Leader Glenn Taylor says, if elected, he’ll hold a full public inquiry into the health system and increase investment in long-term care facilities and home care to free up hospital beds.
Other highlights include removing the age limits for funding for adults who want to earn a high school diploma, and removing small business taxes for the first three years for all new businesses.
Taylor also wants to create large city charters for Calgary and Edmonton, something Mayor Naheed Nenshi’s been long advocating.
