Wildrose MLA thinks parking mishap leaked to media

Wildrose MLA Rob Anderson believes a recent parking “mishap” was leaked to the press to make him look bad.

Anderson was caught parking in Premier Alison Redford’s spot at the legislature Tuesday night.

He said he was running late for a 7:30 p.m. legislature sitting, saw the spot was vacant, and parked there without knowing who it belonged to.

The Calgary Sun reports Anderson accused Solicitor-General Jonathan Denis of leaking the incident.

Denis replied, “I had heard that Mr. Anderson had an issue with parking in the premier’s spot.”
