Oilsands to bring $1.2-trillion to Alberta government: study

The Alberta government will be rolling in the cash over the next few decades thanks to the oilsands.
The Canadian Energy Research Institute predicts $1.2-trillion in royalties will hit provincial coffers in the next 35 years.
That’s thanks to continued growth of the oilsands; it’s predicted production will increase to 5.4-million barrels per day from the current 1.6-million.
However, The National Post reports the study says more pipeline infrastructure is needed to support the growth.
