Calgary’s police chief is in Ottawa giving his opinion on the elimination of the long-gun registry in Canada.
Bill C-19, which will get rid of the registry, has passed through the House of Commons and is currently being reviewed by the Senate.
It has been sent to committee for further study before getting the final stamp of approval.
The committee is hearing from the public, experts, like Rick Hanson, and stakeholders before reporting back to the Senate.
