Evening stabbing in Marlborough Park

A man is in stable condition following a stabbing at a residence in the community of Marlborough Park.
It happened just before 9:00 p.m. Sunday in the 5500 block of Memorial Drive.
Duty Inspector Darren Leggatt tells 660News they responded to the scene after a report of a fight.
“There was one victim that had been stabbed in the chest. In our response, we deployed the police helicopter who arrived on scene relatively quickly and was able to located five persons in and about the residence,” Leggatt says.
The suspect is now in custody.
Police are interviewing witnesses at this time.
