Missing girl may be in Alberta

A nine-year-old sister was put in front of reporters Wednesday as RCMP in Surrey made another plea to find 12-year-old Jamie Prohl.

Jamie was last seen before going to bed in her home March 27th.

Mounties say there have been several reported sightings since her disappearance, including one in Squamish.

Officers say they now believe Prohl ran away from a bad situation at home and may be headed for Alberta, where she has extended family.

The missing girl’s sister was unable to speak at a news conference but clearly hopes Jaime is found.
