No suspect identified in attempted abduction

Investigators says they are still unable to identify a person of interest after Tuesday evenings attempted abduction of a 9-year-old Killarney girl.
According to police, the victim and her friend were walking home when a man tried to snatch the girl.
The two children screamed and managed to fight off their attacker and run for help.
CPS continue to talk to and look for witnesses and in the meantime are reminding parents to speak to their children about this kind of danger.
When caught, Duty Inspector Keith Cain says the man will face several charges.
The offender is described as a white male in his 20’s, approximately six feet tall with a slender build, shorter brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a red t-shirt with a small Calgary Flames logo on the upper chest, beige pants and black shoes.
The vehicle is described as a 1990’s beige or gold four-door car and an ‘X’ may have been one of the letters on the license plate.
