Calgary chock-full of activities for Easter

There will be no shortage of activities around the city this Easter long weekend to keep kids of all ages occupied.
Calgary parks will all be open, including Olympic Plaza, as many residents will look to get some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors.
Southland and Village Square Leisure Centres will be open Good Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with regular admission rates in effect.
The Telus Spark Science Centre will open its doors all weekend long for families looking to expand their minds.
Nearby, the Calgary Zoo kicks off its Easter Eggstravaganza with activities, crafts and games.
There will even be a “Zoo-nique” treasure hunt that’s all free with the price of regular admission.
The Calgary Farmer’s Market is inviting families down for its Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning. Activities will begin at 9:00 a.m., and will even include a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Family fun can also be found at Fort Calgary on Sunday with the launch of Spring Fever. A full day of crafts, games, and entertainment is planned for the tykes from their 9th Avenue southeast location; doors are open Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
