B.C. man pleads guilty to vicious beating in Calgary

A B.C. man is facing up to five years in prison after pleading guilty to beating a man at a downtown Calgary fast food joint.
Mark Jacobson, 28, entered his guilty plea Tuesday for aggravated assault for beating 38-year-old Phillipe Roch in March of 2009.
Court heard Roch was punched and kicked numerous times after he tried to step in to stop Jacobson and another man from verbally abusing the sales clerk.
Roch was left with numerous fractured bones in his face.
