Garth Brooks publicist says second Calgary show not possible

Disappointed Garth Brooks fans are turning to social media to express their outrage over Saturday’s record setting sell-out.

The reason for the anger, tickets that were being sold for $62.00 a piece are now popping up on Internet classified sites for as much as $4,500 a piece.

15,322 tickets were sold in under a minute on Saturday, a record for a Stampede concert.

The record sell-out forced fans to create Facebook pages like “Garth Brooks needs to add a second Calgary show.”

But on Saturday, Brooks’ publicist told the Calgary Herald a second show just wouldn’t be possible for country music icon due to prior commitments.

As it stands, the only way fans will be able to still get tickets is if they’re willing to pay above price value.
