Police are concerned because a pair from Fort Macleod haven’t been heard from since leaving for what was supposed to be a day trip to the Fernie area.

Jacob and Anja Oosterwyjk left Fort Macleod late Saturday morning and they were supposed to be back sometime after 6 p.m., but neither family nor friends have heard from them.

The couple, both in their forties, were traveling in a 1997 dark green Honda CRV with Alberta licence plate BCC7195.

RCMP say while there are no suspicious circumstances to this investigation, they would like to hear from anyone with information.
