No connection in two northeast fires

Two northeast business fires in the past week do not appear to be related.
The most recent happened Monday morning along McKnight Boulevard near 52nd Street.
It severely damaged a strip mall, though battalion chief Ernie Molineaux says the building should be salvageable.
On April 16th, another fire ripped though a strip mall just a few kilometres from Monday’s blaze.
Molineaux says though they don’t appear to be linked, the angle will be investigated.
