Fatal crash closes Highway 22

Highway 22 north of Sundre was shut down for over 4 hours Wednesday after a deadly two-vehicle crash.
The crash happened just before 2 in the afternoon and closed the highway until just after 6 p.m.
A woman died in the collision and a man with serious injuries was flown by STARS to a Calgary hospital. There’s no update on his condition.
RCMP say there was one person in each vehicle and the victim’s name is not being released yet.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
