A grade nine student with bright ideas is in charge at City Hall Thursday!

Madeleine Gustavson was selected to be the Mayor for a Day after making recommendations in an essay to improve public transit, enhance the vibrancy of downtown streets at night, and increase Calgary’s overall sustainability.

Gustavson will spend her day shadowing Mayor Naheed Nenshi, meet with his team and city staff as well as address the media for a true mayoral experience.
