Job prospects good for graduating students

Job prospects for graduating university students in Calgary are looking good for the first time since 2007, according to a poll done for the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.

Around 7,300 ads have been posted on the University of Calgary’s internal job board this year, which is a whopping 76 per cent increase from 2008.

Mount Royal is seeing a similar response, with 15 to 20 new job postings daily.

As reported by The Calgary Herald, out of all studies, Liberal Arts students are the most apprehensive when it comes to finding work after graduation.
