Bears trapped near Sundre

Two large grizzly bears have been captured near Sundre after being suspected of raiding grain bins on area farms.
Wildlife officer Adam Mirus tells The Calgary Herald one of the bears is also believed to be responsible for killing a calf.
The bears weighed 320 and 180 kilograms.
One of the animals was caught in a snare, the other in a culvert trap.
Mirus says both have been moved to a wilderness release area about 800 kilometres north of Sundre.
Officials say they’ve had trouble with bears in the Sundre area before; two years ago a donkey was killed.
