Aussie job fair in Calgary

Australia has set its eyes on the Canadian labour market and this country’s skilled workers.
This weekend employers from down under will look to hire a few hundred men and women at the Energy, Mining and Engineering International Jobs Expo.
The director of international operations says higher pay and a beautiful landscape are just a couple perks to working in Australia and he understands that Alberta is already in short demand of skilled labour calling this job fair a global transfer of skill.
The expo is at the Telus Convention Centre.
Currently there are 300 Canadians from previous job expos working in Australia, compared to 2,500 Australians working in Alberta.
