A new survey has found close to 50 per cent of people in Canada, Australia and Britain would like to see Prince William become King ahead of Prince Charles.
Josh Traptow with the Monarchist League of Canada tells 660News, that isn’t going to happen and Charles will get his turn to sit on the throne.
“Constitutionally he would technically have to become King or give up his rights to the throne before Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge could become King and Queen,” said Traptow.
The Angus Reid Poll also found Prince William and his wife the Duchess Kate Middleton are the most popular members of the royal family finishing ahead of the Queen.
Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, who will be touring Canada soon, are the least popular.
